TOTS GROUP

3 - 4 years

With both our instructors being former Kindergarten teachers, the Tots program aims to help prepare your child for Kindergarten and beyond. All our programs emphasize building student confidence and character through the medium of the performing arts. The learning goals of the Tots group are as follows: developing voice, dance/movement, speech/language, gross motor skills, introduction to percussive instruments, rhythm/beat, classroom behavior, direction following, active listening, learning, self-regulation tools, and more. Performances are typically the first weekend of December and the weekend before Memorial Day in May.

Fulfilling the goal of combining music education and expertise with the fun of a shared experience, the Choir performs a wide spectrum of selections. Choreography also pays an important part in the two performances during the year. Many of the numbers are done in a show choir style with colorful costumes and clever props. Performances are typically the first weekend of December and the weekend before Memorial Day in May.

LEADS TEAM

7th - 12th

The Leads program is only for existing members of our program or we may consider acceptance for new members on an audition basis. Our Middle School Leads have the opportunity to mentor and assist with instruction for the Kinder and Prep Choir, while our High School Leads have the opportunity to mentor and assist with instruction for the Kinder, Prep Choir, and/or Children's Choir. All the while also receiving individualized instruction and pedagogy to develop their own skills of performing voice and dance. Because of the leadership training involved in this program, being a Lead requires the highest level of commitment, so attendance for the entirety of every rehearsal is crucial. This program can count towards  leadership training and job shadowing. In addition, the staff will provide reference letters for members upon request on behalf of their experience in the program. Performances are typically the first weekend of December and the weekend before Memorial Day in May.
